The Del Mar Rose Society provides its members with continuous education on the cultivation of roses, fellowship and support in growing roses with programs and special events throughout the year.

The Del Mar Rose Society was founded in January 2000 in celebration of the rose, and offers friendly support to members in their efforts to grow roses in a challenging coastal environment. Meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month at the Powerhouse Community Center in Del Mar from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. There is social time before each meeting, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are planned to help beginner and expert rose growers alike in the cultivation of roses, and feature guest speakers. Time is given to discussing problems in the garden and Society news.

Dues are $40.00 per year for individual or dual (same household) memberships. Membership includes special events throughout the year such as the Rose Pruning Workshop and the Spring Garden Tour.  Society members are entitled to a discount at local retailers such as the Armstrong Nursery in Del Mar. 

The Del Mar Rose Society is affiliated with the American Rose Society.  We invite you to become a member.
